I dont know much about it. But what happen this company had a oil spill in the gulf of mexico. The thing was underwater broke, and they couldnt close it. So its been open and spilling alot of oil and making sea life really bad. I think they were able to close it now. Sorry if this is not very specific.

The oil leak is stopped for now as the cap on the well is working. The two relief wells will soon be in operation and when they are they will insert the mud and cement that will permanently seal the leaking well and then the relief wells will be used to pump oil to ships that will store it and transfer it to land based processors. The relief wells will reduce the pressure on the leaking well. There is still the possibility the relief wells may not be able to push the mud and cement into the leaking well and that would create a whole new problem for BP.

sort of :)

they put a cap on it, from what I know, and it's stopped but apparently it could start up again since the cap is a somewhat of a temporary fix. I'm not exactly sure if it's completely stopped or if some is still leaking out but from what I know, it's mostly contained.

1. When did the oil rig 1st explode and how much oil leaked out initially?
April 20; the amount of oil that "leaked out initially" is unknown. Initially it was believed that there was no oil leak.
2. What is the lowest and highest average of oil that has leaked from the rig?
There is no high / low average, only high and low estimates. The range is 35,000 to 60,000 barrels (bbls) per day. There are 42 gallons in a bbl. The lowest initial estimate was 1,000 bbls per day, made on April 24. The worst case scenario was estimated as 100,000 bbls per day.
3. What were all the possibilities that you know of that they (gov., BP, clean up recruits) thought of to fix the problem of the oil spill?
There have been thousands of fixes suggested for the problem. The "top hat," the "junk shot," the cap, the relief well, and the static shot are the ones that have been attempted. The cap is currently keeping the oil from spilling.
4. When was the cap put on and how much oil is leaking now?
The cap was put on July 15, and there are no leaks as of this time.
5. Did Bonnie harm, help, or do both to our coast and if so what?
Bonnie caused little harm, in that crews involved in the cleanup had to suspend their efforts until the storm passed.
6. What places have seen tar balls in the area?
Tar balls have washed up on the shores of Louisiana, Florida, Mississippi, Texas, and Alabama
7. How long will estimated clean up be?
The amount of time it will take to clean up the oil could be anywhere from months to years. There is no way of knowing or even accounting for all the oil that is in the Gulf.
8. Who's responsible for the oil spill?
Currently, BP is taking responsibility, but the owner of the rig, Transocean, may very likely be found to have played a large part in the oil spill as well.

Why don't you do your own research at the library in the newspapers area. Even if I give you information, you still need to state the source of your information and it needs to be credible. You cannot rely on us to give you info because it might not be accurate information. If you are in high school, I guess it's acceptable to ask us but not if you are at the University, it would be unacceptable to bring irrelevant information and you will get an F.

I can predict that there will be a revolution in Europe and the Muslims will take over by 2020. They will impose their religion on everyone by 2021. The US will already have 30% Muslims in congress by 2020 so their will be little interference from the USA. The left will have eliminated almost all conservatives by 2020 legally or illegally and the poverty level will be at an all time high.
The Muslims will have all the oil money because we never will drill. and the US as well as Europe and Russia will have to rely upon the middle east for food and energy.
That will lead to WWIII by 2022 and Armageddon in 2023.
The new World leader will emerge by 2020 a Alexander type leader, young ambitiuos and will have 4 generals who will support him.

Web bots, or crawlers, simply simply find what the majority of people are searching for, i.e. worried about.

They "predict" things retroactively.

When 911 happened, they said "I knew that was gonna happen".

It doesn't take a bot to tell you that someday there will be another war, that could be called a world war.

They are also predicting thousands of things that won't happen.
